Crystal Popourri
Smelly Jelly
Candles:
The following tips will help to get the most out of your
candle.
Always keep the wick trimmed (with soy, you will need a slightly longer
wick than with paraffin). Even so, always make sure it is trimmed to
no more than ½ an inch. An untrimmed wick will cause your candle
to burn unevenly. It may also cause soot and be a fire risk. For best
results, after extinguishing your candle, dip the end of the wick in
the melted wax.
Always burn candles on a heatproof surface.
Do not burn your candle when the wax is less than ½ inch from
the bottom.
Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children.
The first time you burn a container candle, you should allow it to burn
until the top is completely melted.
A full melt pool on the first burn will allow for a more even burn for
the rest of your candle’s life.
The first time you burn a pillar, help it to establish a good burn pattern
by burning it until the melt pool nearly reaches the edges (usually 3-4
hours).
Always burn votives in a tight fitting container.
When your soy candle resets after a burning, it may develop a slight
frosted or uneven appearance. This is not unusual. It is simply characteristic
of soy and will not affect your candle’s burn.
To help keep your candle looking its best, do not keep on or next to
a direct heat source, e.g. direct sunlight or a stove.
Crystal Potpourri:
The fragrance of this product will provide you with several weeks of enjoyment. Simply shake the jar, remove the lid (be sure to wipe the lid before setting it down on anything as it may have dye spots on it) and set the jar in a location of your choice.
Crystal Potpourri is not bath salts and should not be used on your skin. The fragrance oil used in this product will react with and ruin some metals, plastics and fabrics. Dye will stain; avoid contact with surfaces and fabrics. Wash hands after touching any scented object and before touching face, skin, hair, pets or food. For that reason we recommend you keep the product in the container you purchased with the crystal potpourri.
Crystal Potpourri should be kept out of reach of children and pets that may think its something eatable.
Refresher oil can be purchased to keep your Crystal Potpourri smelling fresh as ever! Crystal Potpourri can also be purchased by the bag to use in your own container (glass or other non-porous container).

Smelly Jelly can be refreshed by shaking the jar. If the jelly seems to shrink in the jar, simply add a little warm water to the jar, replace the lid and shake for a minute or two. Remove the lid and the fragrance should be refreshed. Refresher oil can be purchased to keep your Smelly Jelly fresh as ever!
We sell our Smelly Jelly with a much higher fragrance oil content. By doing this, the fragrance is not only stronger, but you can refresh our Smelly Jelly longer than those purchased at other companies. We also sell our Smelly Jelly with a decorative swatch of cloth. When you put your Smelly Jelly in a room, simply remove the lid, put the cloth over the jar and tighten it down with the ring of the lid. That way, if you should happen to knock the jar over, the product will remain in the jar. It should be noted though, that this cloth will not prevent the dye or fragrance oil from saturating the cloth and then any material where the jar has fallen.
